Yoga for Children, fun and informative.

If a child is to keep alive his inborn sense of wonder, he needs the companionship of at least one adult who can share it, rediscovering with him the joy, excitement, and mystery of the world we live in.
—Rachel Carson, American marine biologist and nature lover
Children are naturally interested in their environment, plants, structures, animals and nature from which yoga draws its inspiration and lessons.
Kid’s yoga practice allows children to become, sound like and learn about a variety of animals as well as lots of other inspirations from nature, which encourage gross and fine motor movement.
This helps to develop their understanding of the world while strengthening and keeping their bodies flexible.
Yoga breath exercises and yoga philosophy are included as a part of the instruction in songs and rhymes. Fun is a primary element. Classes are 30 minutes.
